Aquafarming

Aquafarming in Probably Stolen means breeding fish in tanks, tilapia first and then eels and sturgeon, for meat and caviar. The studio calls it slower-paced and more beginner-friendly than Rat Ranching.

Aquafarming in Probably Stolen is raising fish in tanks to harvest and sell their meat, and the studio calls it slower-paced, lower-maintenance and more beginner-friendly than Rat Ranching.

Getting started

Choose the Aquafarmer scenario, or buy the Retired Aquafarmer upgrade through Wild's Network. You begin with a basic water circulation system, a stock of tilapia and fish food. You need a Water Circulation System, a water tank, a charged Energy Cell and fish food.

Caring for fish

Each species has its own habitat needs: manage water quality, filtration and the energy cell. With those met, fish lay and fertilize roe, which hatches into fry that grow up. Tanks can be upgraded with materials. KeenGamer says to harvest surplus when the tank nears capacity.

Species and products

Move from tilapia varieties to eels and sturgeon. Eels and sturgeon need meat-based feed. A knife slaughters fish for meat, and Surgery Tools harvest caviar from sturgeon; Steam's results image lists caviar sold to an Upper Level chef as a run's biggest sale.

A results panel with starting perks, four stat boxes and highlights such as best day and closest call.
An Aquafarmer's Buyout results on Price Gouge: 154 days survived, 3,554 estimated total wealth, a 14,600 buyout and 34,165 in total sales, in an official Steam store image of Probably Stolen Questing Goose Studio and tinyBuild
