Machines and Production

Probably Stolen's machines run overnight and draw power: the Furnace turns scrap and ore into ingots, the wine setup ferments and ages, Hydroponics grow crops, and a 3D Printer makes weapons.

Machines in Probably Stolen turn cheap inputs into stock, mostly overnight, and they are bought from Dr. Jackson or unlocked through Wild's Network.

Furnace

Scrap alone gives low-purity ingots, scrap plus ore better ones, and two ores high-purity ones. A Blast Module makes two ingots from three materials. TreyexGaming's playtest notes say GP Mining sells 6 ores at first and 12 later. Each ingot size upgrade adds 20 durability, and scrap repairs 50% of the maximum.

Wine

The Retired Winemaker costs 200 credits. A batch is 750 ml of Basewater or better and one or two berries, four days to ferment with no yeast, about two with normal yeast, about one with Super Yeast. KeenGamer warns off synthetic yeast, which makes GloomBerry Wine. The AgeWell raises finished wine's value over time. The clip is Aliensrock loading a wine-aging machine in the August playtest.

Crops, weapons and chemicals

Hydroponics need a system, a seed, water and Nutrient Tablets when needed, ending in genetically modified crops. Weapons take a 3D Printer, a weapon production chip and filament, and KeenGamer got its firearms permit through Joe Wild at about 30 Security reputation. Chemistry uses lab equipment and closely guarded recipes, and a Lab Pure grade narcotic earns Say My Name.

Power

Early on, you may not need paid electricity with nothing powered overnight. A Powerbloc charges adjacent batteries and machines. TreyexGaming, in the playtest, found one touching square is enough and bonuses stack. The Mirage Projector needs a charged cell, or it goes inactive, as GitM's did on Day 31.

Frequently asked questions
