Deed prices
| Difficulty | Starting deed |
|---|---|
| Price Gouge | 12,000, per AllThingsHow; the game's screen says "lower property price" |
| Mark Up | 12,000 |
| Thin Margins | 24,000 |
| Red Ink | 36,000 |
The price moves during a run, so check the Calendar: KeenGamer's run began at a 14,400 valuation and ended at a 15,100 quote. Steam's own image shows a 14,600 buyout on Day 154 of a Price Gouge run.
The mortgage
Early in a Mark Up run, the Loan Shark offers a mortgage. Figures differ by run: AllThingsHow records 2,000 upfront and 930 weekly for 12 weeks; KeenGamer records 2,000 down and 1,153 weekly for 12 weeks at a stated 50% annual rate. Missing a payment with stock worth less than it means the Repossession ending.
The Business Permit comes first
Do not forget the permit. The Mentor warns on Day 24 if you lack one, permits go on sale two weeks later, and enforcement follows a week after. It costs 500 on Price Gouge, 1,500 on Mark Up, 2,000 on Thin Margins and 3,000 on Red Ink, and having none at enforcement is the No Permit ending.
After you win
You get the stats: most profitable sale, days survived, total worth and perks, and can continue without rent. The Merchant keeps visiting on Sundays. On Oct 31, 2026, Steam showed 10.8% of players owning the deed, and 2.6% before Day 50.
